Thanks to Assembly Bill 836, Smarter HEPA is supplying high-capacity Smart Air Blast air purifiers for the Fire Emergency Preparedness and Clean Air Center Programs.
San Francisco Mayor London Breed commends the grant, recognizing its importance in protecting communities from wildfire smoke and air pollution. The Smart Air Blast units boast true HEPA filtration, capturing 99.97% of particulate matter, and can clean up to 4,500 square feet in 30 minutes.
To date, Smarter HEPA has supplied 845 units to Air Quality Management Districts, benefiting shelters, libraries, senior centers, and schools. The aim is to establish over 300 Clean Air Centers in the Bay Area, prioritizing underserved communities
