I’ve been spending the last few weeks reading about air purification and have become obsessed with Smart Air. My Sqair Air Purifier arrived in the mail today. Within 20 minutes of setting it up, my bedroom air felt much lighter and easier to breathe in, and I feel silly for not purchasing this air purifier sooner. I look forward to turning it on every night before I go to bed in my efforts to attack chronic inflammation and stress from multiple angles. I have no doubt I’ll have more deeply restorative sleep since the Sqair also sounds like a white noise machine that isn’t too distractingly loud.

Investment for our health. My friends had one of these in China, but I was given a bigger, more expensive air filter. Sqair works better, is quieter, takes up less space, and looks better. When I came back to Australia I ordered a Sqair for my new place. It helps when there are fires around, from fireplaces in winter to next door neighbour’s huge bbqs. It helps the persistent cough that I usually have during winter. And, now they say it will reduce the risk of Covid which will be great when I have visitors again.

Arrived quickly, works and looks great in my home. I like that it’s quiet and really easy to assemble and use. I found the information on the website helpful. I bought it because of the wildfire smoke in Canada and I’m sure it will help us breathe better.

Bought one Sqair for our bedroom…..Ordered another one for the livingroom whilst getting more filters…Looks good and cleans the air, love it!
Only downer was it was a little dirty out of the box but nothing that wouldn´t come off with a cloth and water.

Overall it works very well. It looks good, is easy to assembly, easy to use (only 4 settings including “off”), and is easy to take apart. I usually run it on level 2/3 and it has replaced my noise machine in my room (which I had used when sleeping before getting the Sqair.

The Sqair works. One of the best investments I’ve made. Easily pays for itself many times over in terms of tangible benefit to my health and reduced sick days and medicine. Will get one for my office as well, probably.

I’ve got cat allergies. My daughter has cats. As you can imagine, this poses a challenge. The SQAir has made a noticeable difference. I’m still stuffy all the time, but over the past two weeks, things have gotten noticeably better. The air in my pandemic office also “tastes” better from the rest of the house. Since my filter was being borrowed by family members, we bought one more. It now lingers over the outofsight kitty litter box, noticeably reducing emissions. Yet, borrowing still happened — so we ordered even one more. Once the “mini-blast” is available in 120v, we will probably order it for the main floor of our apartment, and gift the 3rd SQAir to a nearby sibling.

What I like the most about this filter is that it is… simple. No shiny LEDs or complex dials or beeping panels. It has 3 fan speeds. I use “1” when I am in the room (working or sleeping), and “3” when I am absent. The lowest setting is relatively quiet, at least with the ambient noise of the city: sitting next to it, I hear a faint electric hum; across the room, it is barely audible. The highest setting circulates air in the room better, on this setting the white noise of the air being expelled drowns out the motor humm. We have it on “2” over the cat litter box, this seems like a nice compromise between noise vs air flow. Having 3 levels, and no more, is excellent user interface design.

The build is attractive and solid. It seems kinda “Apple” feel: white with clean external design. It is light enough to be moved around the house. The 4 wood feet (needed for space for fan intake) are removed for shipping, but putting them on is trivial. I understand that every 3 months we will need replacement HEPA filters. I’m looking forward to the US distributor so that this does not become prohibitively expensive.

Its amazing the amount of data these people have put out on their blogs and on their website. If you understand that an air purifier does not need to be complicated and is an extremely simple device, you will see no reason to spend any more money on any other brand. All Their data is verified by 3rd party labs btw, no joke. The other companies might be good also, but this is hands down the most bang for buck, Sexiest looking air purifier. Build quality is great for the money and this thing is built to last. I don’t want bells and whistles, fancy leds, just an air purifier that works. This one does the job and does it quieter than the competition.

I’ve been using this filter in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and it works great (I purchased a laser egg air monitor with it, and found that the sqair cleans the air in our bedroom within a few minutes on the medium setting). The design with the filter on the bottom of the unit and the air coming out the top is really thoughtful– The top of the unit stays clean and dust-free, and the filter media stays safely out of reach of curious hands and fingers. It’s effective, no-nonsense, and gimmick-free. The filters last a long time and are much cheaper than competitors, even with shipping. The only thing missing that I would like to see is pre-filters for the sqair.
Planning to purchase another sqair for another room. I highly recommend!

Have had The Sqair since it’s launch. It’s the best air purifier I have come across in the last 15 years (and I had them all!). Quiet, effective, and a great design. Well done!
