Have been using the QT3 for train and plane travel, and while I work in the library. It’s VERY quiet– the Library of Congress doesn’t allow most air purifiers because of noise, but this one is allowed. It’s also lightweight and fits easily in a bag, and maintains a charge for several hours. Definitely makes me feel safer now that most people refuse to wear a mask and no one seems keen on improving indoor ventilation. The one drawback is that I seem to have lost one of the little rubber feet and there doesn’t seem to be an option to buy a replacement (sad). It doesn’t affect how it runs, though, so I’m still giving it 5 stars.

I love this thing. Used it a ton on a transatlantic trip, in addition to an N95, for two months. I was initially unsure if it wasn’t excessive to carry a mini air filter with me, but I used this thing so much on the trip, and stayed healthy the whole trip. I will absolutely bring it with me again on future travels or other high risk situations. (It’s important to note that I used this in combination with a well-fitting N95, simply as an added layer of protection. I’m not suggesting I think it would necessarily be enough on its own)
I was so glad to have it, especially when we got stuck on the runway for an hour, when filters are usually off and there’s no ventilation. It’s great to have something with you that might make a difference rather than just being stuck there, helpless. Used it again on bus/train rides, especially with audibly sick people coughing all around me. In theses cases, I held it close to my face – which also makes it function like a fan, cooling you off (I get hot in N95s). Airline stewardesses were curios about it but they didn’t make me put it away, even during take off and landing. I carried a cell-phone battery pack for running it for a long time (eg 10 hour flight), but the battery in it lasts pretty well too – useful for those moments the airline stewardess doesn’t want anything plugged into the USB ports. It’s very light weight and no problem to hold it for long periods of time.
Dear SmartAir: this thing rules, but those two little plastic pieces that can fall out of position when it’s turned on its side should get redesigned so they can’t fall. In fact, this was used in every position and orientation possible, so designing for that possibility would be good. Also, the strap came off immediately, and the peg to hold it was instantly lost. Overall, though – a lightweight little filter, quiet, USB2 cable – very useable device.

Highly recommended. I’m still trying to survive the COVID-19 pandemic and this little air purifier has helped me feel more reassured about my safety. I let it blow towards me while I wear my N95 mask on public transport and in crowded areas. Relatively quiet and I can’t hear it when there’s background noise. Love the cute design, it’s lightweight, and has a convenient handle. Only downside is that it has small gaps next to the filter that might leak unfiltered air, but it’s easily covered with tape (DIY). I heard some customers have received extra accessories for covering the gaps, which I didn’t receive but I haven’t asked about it (for context, I purchased from Australian distributor). Thank you for this awesome device.

Very easy to use, not noisy. Small and light enough to be held on a lap facing you during medical appointments. Using it in a hospital waiting area gave me the confidence to be there. Good battery life but get a powerbank for longer than 2hrs use.

Perfect size, smart looking and light. Good battery life. Can also run using USB C cable. Quiet too. Very quick delivery.

We received our QT3 today, much quicker than expected! Very lightweight, and surprisingly powerful for it’s size, perfect for taxi rides, hospital appointments, even just as a cooling fan when the weather calls for it! Comes with USB C cable and can be run from internal battery or a usb power bank. You can’t put a cost on peace of mind. Thanks!!
